Last year, Birzeit Society launched its first Giving Tuesday Fundraiser. The response was marvelous and was much appreciated.

In addition to the challenges caused by COVID-19, our families back home continue to experience harsh living standards due to the occupation. With the support of our generous members, we were able to help many families in need and donate to various causes!

In 2021, Birzeit Society fundraised and distributed nearly $40,000 that went towards helping many families in Birzeit. Some of our programs included financially assisting Birzietis with medical needs, purchasing and supplying 10 Oxygen Generators to Birzietis recovering at home, and awarding 23 college scholarships.

Birzeit Society’s current fundraising efforts for 2022 includes assisting families in Birzeit with medical or financial needs, fundraising for the 2022/2023 scholarship program and more. 

As many Birzeitis continue to undergo hardship, we will continue our efforts to assist our community and organizations in Birzeit and we need your help!
